You are purchasing a Madame Alexander Alexander Kins Doll SLW 1954 Alexander-kins Wendy. She is a cutie. This is a factory defect doll it never made it passed the factory line for retail sales. My mom had a whole collection of these each having different defects she bought them from Alexanders factory. Flaws: She needs a wig on as shown she was a red head I see a few strands and the glue residue for  Her legs needs to be re strung on parts are there. Her eyes open and close. Her head does move back and forth when I push down on the pieces sticking out of the torso for the legs. So she will walk when you put the legs on. Top of the leg thigh where the parts meet tiny split its minor shown in the close ups. She has a few other small gap lines where the parts meet but not splits shown in the close example where the arm hole is tiny little gap on the part meet line but its not a split its at the very edge same on the neck line under the head. She has some dirt pick up and stains most noticeable on her behind and stomach and needs to be cleaned I do not clean vintage dolls. Minor marks and scratches, Few small scuff marks on one thigh.  I do not know how to clean dolls well so I will leave that up to the new owner. Her make up is very bright and attractive it has some minor rubs offs on her cheeks  and lips.  I have been selling these for awhile collectors seem to love to buy them to fix them up. She is a cutie.”
