    Description

    This antique iron door knocker was found in France, It is in the form of a knot, I believe a Heraldic knot. The piece has two mounting holes on the back, but no screws. The back plate is also nicely shaped and very decorative. The hinge works well. The piece is in very good condition with no breaks or major flaws. There is some irregularity in the iron on the back consistent with older casting techniques. Weight is just under 2 lbs.
    Measurements are: 8 1/2" long, 3 7/8" wide and 2 1/8" deep.
