    Description

    This is a brass mechanically operated doorbell of the style in use before 1900. It is all brass with a molded scroll decorated base. It has the square hole where the knob from the outside of the door should attach with a square shaft, (but I don't have the knob). Otherwise it is in good condition with an old looking patina. I see no maker's name on it.
